which colour lighting do u guys think show off the colour of bichir the most? (especially for ornate) Red, blue, white etc? thanks

imo lighting that duplicates natural sun light works best. i personally like the 6700K (which tries to duplicate the mid-day sun light), and its slightly yellowish, not so much in the beginning though when the bulb is new. it looks really nice esp. if you have plants. some people like 10000K, which is pretty white. anything else just wouldn't work well imo.

personally 10000K with actinic just POPs for me but a little blue thrown in is nice and really draws a range of colors out, but then you have to buy another bulb and for some it's just not worth it, for me it is. also use alot of black (black sand/gravel, black background, etc) to make colors stand out even more
