I have just gotten a platinum channa limbata… which turned yellow at certain parts around the tail…
Does lighting affects? Or food? Or the background color?

There are various factors such as mood, stress, food, substrate or background color, and dominance display or breeding dress just to name a few.

I’d believe the lighting and background will have some effect.

Currently the background is black with reddish brown substrate… any advice?
