I think I've came across a good deal on a light for my 135 gallon tank. Anyone here have any experience using a fluval aquasky light? I'm most attracted to the dimmable feature and it's programming.

I use an aqua sky but the older model. I like it and I know the newer model is only better, great for fish colors and plants.

Is it mainly for looks, or are you going to do plants too?

Looks. I tried plants. They got wrecked over night.

LOL! Yeah, been there. It depends on what you keep.

In terms of the fixture you list, I've never had anything bad that was Fluval. I've got some no-name cheapy LED aquarium strip lights off eBay or the likes over the years. Some still going strong. Others not so much. I also have a Currrent Satellite 48" LED over my planted 55 that's been going strong for 5yrs now.
