Lights stopped working - What's wrong?

Hi,

So I come to my planted tank to find it in darkness. It's lighting was working earlier. So I take it down to check it out. When I press the on/off switch I see the bulbs light up and flicker once but then they do not come on. I have took the bulbs out and tried putting them back in etc.

Is the problem that the bulbs are no good or is there a problem with the ballast?

This is a duel T5 NO fixture. Could I use a T5HO bulb with this? ANy feedback is appreciated. Thanks

pedal faster. j/k, it is most likely a loose connection in the ballast itself. just pop the cover off and check the connections with the switch.

I ended up calling the manufacturer and they told me it was bad bulbs. Well they are sending me free replacements. It's been 9 days my planted tank has been in darkness. Anyone know what this will do to my plants?
