are moon lights just acintic blue

I think red would be nice, maybe I will swap out me blue ones. Maybe a blacklight lol see if any fish can be lit up like that at night. Never tried that myself.

Moonlights are lights that simulate the look of the moon. These can be either white or blue, and are generally L£D lights. Actinic bulbs are completely separate.

^agreed...actinic is a light wavelength wereas moon lights are just a soft light for asthetic apeal.

using an actinic would produce too much light, even some moonlight LEDs produce a little too much. you want just enough to see the fish in a dark room(once your eyes have adjusted to the dark)
