I AM USING A OCEAN SUN 1000K BULB IN MY TANK I LIKE THE COLOR OF IT I JUST WISH IT WAS A LITTLE BRIGHTER. I AM USING BLACK GRAVEL AND I HAVE ALOT OF BLACK SLATE SO MY TANK IS A LITTLE DARKER LOOKING FOR SOMETHING TO BRIGHT IT UP!

hagen powerglos are a very bright standard florescent bulb that I like.

not sure if they are brighter than the ocean sun bulb though..
