Yeah, it's probably a subject that's been beat to death. All I'd like is some suggestions, preferably led related a 150 tall. It's African cichlids , I'm not looking for reef tank bright, but just a nice look on a deep tank

look for beamswork on ebay its cheap and work well not to mention bright with 2 modes. day/night.

Current USA led lights ...... Can easily adjust brightness and color ...... I personally have 2 fixtures and if ever need more would continue buying

Me too I've just ordered a second light for my upgraded tank so I'll have a couple on my 180 :) I love the optional timer too , these lights have loads of cool features and effects

Yes especially Bosnia can add the sun set setting mode and all the rain and thunder modes as well it's really nice

Also, I currently have a aqueon led on my tank. It's the one that can be upgraded from the single strip to 3 strips. Does anyone have thoughts on if I should upgrade that light or would it be beneficial to go anow entirely different route?

If it's worth upgrading, what strips would be the best combo ?

I use two 72" Beamswork strips on my 180, a 10000k and a 6500k. They balance out nicely. I can switch on the blue only on one and the low setting on the other for a nice low dusky look. Blue only for catfish and pleco feeding time.
