Well, the tempature has been high for a while around here(cali) and it has raised the tank temp. Then I noticed these little bugs everywhere in my tank. I think they arrived from the high heat. I have not added anything new for over a month. Please help.

Please post pics of these bugs. How big is the tank and what fish do you have in there? What exactly is the temperature? What did you feed your fish? Where is your tank located?

they look like little white worms right? if they do i have those too! i dont know what they are.
Yours are planaria. Cut on feeding and do more water changes and vacuuming. They needed the food in order to survive.

They do not look like worms but like little light brown circles going around. I feed my pike and green terror hikari cichlid gold and cocktail shrimp.

I was just gonna post a question about those! They're like small white 0.5cm or less caterpillars/millipeads or something, right!? I agree I think I feed too much. More water changes would help. I have them in my guppy tank and don't want them in my main cichlid tank. Suggestions?

sounds like mosquito larva.. but hard to say without pics

what's your water tests results, size of tank, type of filtering, how often W/C, how many fish, how often you feed, etc. pics? minimum you can do is big W/C daily for now. make sure you use conditioned water.

are they round and zip around the tank? if so i had them and they are what the fish person said fish lice. annoying little things
