My Flowerhorn will be moved over to the newly procured 150gallon tank and while i was telling a friend about the purchase he asked if I wanted his female MiDevil. He is going to be moving for work and has to put his tank in storage for the time being. The MiDevil is just over 3 inches long right now and has been in a tank by herself since he got her (pretty sure she was a Petco purchase, hence the MiDevil label). He is 100% certain certain it's a female, but i'm still trying to get some pics.
My Flowerhorn is pushing 6.5" now. If you were booking odds, what chance in percentage would you give this pairing not ending in the death of the MiDevil due to the size difference?

keep them separated and powerfeed the female until she's closer to his size. keep in mind that if a FH is twice the length of another, the bigger one is nearly 4 times the bulk. sounds like a good pairing, the smaller fish just needs to catch up. i wouldnt let them together until she's at least 3/4 of his length.

good luck :)

it would hep if u had anouther tank,so u could take him out of his rearange everythin put her in for a week or so then add him back into it with her
that is sorta what i try an do with all my male flowerhorns, it not try the devider idea they might take to eachouther an then you would have midevil-horns lol
good luck pal

The FH hasn't been in the in the 150 yet, the goal would be to put them in at the same time. I'm hoping the female is actually larger than his estimation.
Thanks for the input
