i'm picking up a 22" 'Common' pleco tomorrow. What would the most likely sp be? p pardalis only gets 13" H plecostomus gets 14 and gibbs get 17" according to planetcatfish.com. any other sp.s get sold under 'common' that i don't know about?

both plecostomus and gibby's get larger than the stated max. my gibby is about 3 years old and has hit 17", im shure theres more in him as well.
i thought so. i had a 22" gibb come through the shop a few years back. i just wanted to get a 2nd oppinion. lady is selling her tanks so i'll keep it in my 175 till the pond warms up
