lil guys like da pellets!

i got 4 polypterus on the 16th and i fed them pellets for the first time today. as soon as their nostrils came in contact with the pellets they swooped them up. However, they kept spitting it back out and chewing it up and spitting back out. they did this to all the pellets untill their were just tinny remains left. could this be because of their size? they seem like they cant swallow the the pellets! the pellets are hikari sinking carnivore pellets.

u must be using the MFK white skin format!!

their about 5-6'' long all 4 of them

they should be more than able to eat them at that size. keep on feeding and they will eventually get them down.

alright will do!! they seem to really like them all my polys were munching away simultaneously, even my rays came over to see what was going on.
