He's really active isn't he?

Don't worry the heater's not even connected. The heater did a number on my Gulper's gut and ever since it's been disconnected. The Gulper cat survived, but has a horrible scar. Plus when I bought this stingray he had a bad burn from the LFS's heater. Got him for a steal($15) since they thought he wouldn't survive. Low and behold here is 4 month's later and still kickin. Just curious it's always had me a little worried, is his activeness something I should be worried about. Since he healed he's alway's on the move. I'm just a little worried since he doesn't seem to be growing either. I got a female at the same time and her disk size has gotten about 50% bigger since then. She also rides the powerheads, but no where as often as Lil Kahuna does.

Oh he found a good current. My rays and my bestfriends rays love to play in bubble and currents. They are in great shape so I am guessing its a good thing for them to be active. I worry when they arent playing, hunting, or begging for food.
Looks like that burn is healing nicely, and what a great deal $15 I WISH!! LOL
Oh and I couldnt see great...what kind of ray is he? Other than cute as sin!

I'm new to rays so I'm uncertain about what kind he is. He and my female ray where marked as teacup ray's for $75. Must be a common ray since the next bad boy I got was a marbled motoro for $225. I lost him though, I have a soft spot for catfish and I tried putting the marbled with a Apurensis(jello cat). The result's where disasterous as the Apu tried to kill the ray viciously ripping all the soft tissue of the rays back exposing it's spine and of course the ray retaliated stingin the Apu above it's eye. Neither recovered from the wound the ray died within 24 hours and the Apu hung on for a day and a half.

nice active ray.... looks a lil on the skinny side though.... sucks about the marbled and the cat fish...
