Lily in tank?

my wife bought a bunch of those walmart pond lillies and one never did anything so i threw it in with the snails for them to eat. Well now its growing like crazy but there is no room for it in the pond. would it live in a 150 with 50/50 lights?

The only problem woulkd be shading of other plants.

actually its not in a tank right now. I got a 55g barrel outside full of old plants that i keep my apple snails in. I threw it off in there for them to eat and now its got 3-4 pads.

It won't do as well with the 50/50 lighting. Not enough usable light for it.
