i have a bare bottom 225 ehiem 2260 on one end with the spray bar pointed down then a 3200 duel wavemaker on the other end, it is not on a timer I just plug it in a few times each day. ok so my 13 in Lima likes to point up toward and swim to it, then when it gets tired it lays on this piece of driftwood( that the wave maker is pointed at, since it is lined up in the middle of tank) It gyrates or for a better word quivers. It eats and is fine, it seems to enjoy it. Do they really love the current that much? is this normal. I am about add a small aracha cat for a growout today. I suppose it will hide, my Lima doesnt though, hoping it will work.
