yep most catfish do that, they are good eaters.

yep them and pictus cats they useually fill up quite a bit and swim around on there stomachs my pictus look like they ate a marble

i just got a new lima 8" 2 days ago, awesome fish. im having a hard time getting him off live food, i hear starvation? he does take in market shrimp and sea bass chunks but spits em out. any suggestions?

Starve him more. I got one that was raised to 14-15" on feeders, but I refused to feed him that. Eventually he gave in.

thanks rally. should i keep putting food in for him everyday or wait a couple days?

I never fed mine specifically. I just let him get the idea when everone else was eating the he started to clean up after them.
