All lima keepers post pics of your limas. And tell us how big they are and how long have you been keeping them.
Heres mine it's about 14"-15" had him for about 2 years now.

These are my two, its a really old picture though so they are quite a bit bigger now, the largest is maybe 15-16", smaller ones maybe 11", had them both 2 maybe 3 years, they grew very slowly to start with due to how small their previous tank was, and how poorly maintained it was, they were both rescue fish.

They only REALLY started to grow the last year I guess, growing like weeds now.

Need to get some more up to date pictures, really small in this pic.

what are you feeding? im about to move mine to his own tank and start power feeding.

Mine eats whatever i throw in the tank cichlid pellets,market shrimp,krill and he really loves silversides.

Bought a lima recently hes bout 4-5 inches. What can i expect for growth rate? He is eating frozen bloodworms/Krill and started eating cichlid gold.

Just got mine yesterday.. He's only 4inches and I have him in a smaller tank until he gets big enough to go in with my bigger fish.

Feeding him roseys... He doesn't seem to want anything else.

I had one for years that stopped growing around 13". He died a while back.

I bought one a couple of months ago that was 8" long and has gained an inch or so since then.
