My lima cat is shedding is that normal?

I've never heard of or seen that. Are you sure it doesn't have fin rot or a fungus

YEa that is normal they do it when stressed. Or sometimes when real full....lol

it's normal, mine all do it about once a week. Or when really stressed. They usually eat each other's slime coat!

yeah my two do it as well, it's nutritious and they do it when stressed or they eat a crap load.

it doesn't take long for the to shed it. You could easily miss it in a smaller one. My big one takes a few mins, so normally I catch him, but the other two only take about a min or so. So you won't always catch them.
