over there boi
Need some suggestions. As of late i have not been seeing my lima eating. He use to devour market shrimp and sinking pellets. I can drop the shrimp and pellets right in front of his face and he does not seem interested. All the other fish are eating fine water parameters are all good.Do limas go on hunger strikes like cichlids do at times.Oh yeah he is currently about 12" and other wise seems healthy.Any ideas anybody.

feed him when the lights are off.

ya i used to put in frozen blood worms and turn the lights off and i would turn them back on and his belly would be full!!! =) sadly my oscar that is only mabe 1/2" bigger ate him!!....... =( =( i was sooooo sad.... it was right before i was putting him in a bigger tank too.... i was too late!!!!!!!!!!!!!! RIP little LSN RIP.........

Sorry to here about your lima jdiidy,it sucks when you lose a fish.I will try with the lights off.I think he is just maybe getting out competed by my cichlids for food. They are real pigs when it comes to chow time.

he could be shedding his slime coat and doesn't feel up to eating...just an idea.

May I ask what the problem was? Assuming there was one...
