lima shovel nose

Hi every one, this is my 1st post.
I live england,bristol. i need some info on my lima its not eaten for 4 weeks tried every think, any help please.
my other cats are RTC, TSN, RTC X TSN not all together.

how big is it
if they are over 12" it is normal that they may fast for a few days
but if it is a small one and a new one give it time

Hi, just got back online, feeding has been mussel / prawn / feeder fish / trout ect, it is 10in long and also lives with a 4in lima to in a 70gl tank

Could be any number of things from water quality to tankmates. With limas they are kinda strange. I have two one is 11", and the other is 14". The 11" one only eats like every other week to once per month. The 14" eats every night without fail, and is huge and is the thickest lima I"ve ever seen. When I was housing my oscars with them neither one would eat. The oscars were just too aggressive and they would hide when they were feeding.

yes you may be on the to some think thare, there housed with angels and tetras & hopfully in the next couple of weeks will be going in a 269gl tank so things may change

good to hear. I think that after they adjust to the new tank you will see new activity with the limas.

I have one that is a little over 3 ft. I've had it for 2 years and another member had it before I did. I got him at 2', and he's grown about a foot since then. Soon as my other cats are big enough they will all be moved into a massive pond together. Do you have a question about them? If you have one at 2' you probably know about as much as me lol. Have any pics?
