Lima Shovelnose info

In a couple of months im going to setup a SA/CA biotype and i love lima shovelnose catfish.

The tank is 180g and the stock is going to be:

1 male Texas Cichlid(carpintis)
1 male jag
1 male rd
1 male jd
4-5 red hook silver dollars

and i wanted to add a catfish, and as i said earlier i love limas and i wanted to add one as a bottom dweller.

Basically just give me all the necessary info on them like:

growth rate
preferred water conditions
diet
and anything else there is needed to know

They are not the fastest growing cats,but they can get to 14" in a couple of years,i have a 14" i have had for a yr and a half,got him when he was like 3".They like a ph of between 6.8 and 7.0,my 2 Limas love raw shrimp and Scallops plus an occasional feeder gold fish.If you get a smaller 1 you will probably have to hand feed him for awhile because they are kinda shy and slow and your cichlids will probably get all the food.I would get 2 as they like to shoal (but 1 would be fine).These are 1 of my favorite cats,not aggressive at all(but try not to keep anything smaller than it,because the smaller fish will disappear 1 nite)You will soon catch"Catfish fever"!!!

One thing, if one lima shovelnose is with a silver arowana, the shovelnose can botter the arowana?

And another question, the shovelnose keep hiding or they swimg free in the tank? Sorry about my English, I'm from Costa Rica.
