What is the min. tank size for a lima shovelnose catfish. And any of my current fish in signature be kept with it.

I would say 200g is minimum for a fully grown up Lima.

You may keep with any big fish that doesn't fit in the limas mouth but beware that the mouth might seem to me small but it will eat kinda big tankmates, you can be amazed how big fish it may eat :O but the lima aint as predatory as the tiger shovelnose so you will be good with most big fish, not eel species like bichir though.

Wow that would have been a mistake of a purchase to keep in a 125.

you could keep one in a 125 for a long time they don't get over 2 feet very often in aquariums

I agree 125 gallon would do for a while.

I have mine with some of the fish in your sig.
Silver Angelfish Silver Dollars, Senegal Bichir, fire Eel

soon as my residents in the 1200 gal pond are large enough I will be putting my hybrid in with them. Then the 350 gal pond will be for limas exclusively. Going to try to be the first to breed them in captivity.
