lima temperment

hey guys from what ive read on here the lima is supposed to be docile. but mine is very temperamental. he will not and i mean will not let my id shark near him whats up with that? id shark very laid back fyi

they're usually pretty peaceful w/ fish not large enough for them to eat, but there are always individual variations

ya not all fish are the same, my friend has the nicest 29 inch rtc i ever seen he has it in a pond with peacock bass and oscars and jags and a small lima that is 12 inches whoch is always next to the rtc and has never noticed a fish gone missing, the rtc only eats the market shrimp.

they can be pushy to other catfish at times but can't do any damage

Mine runs from conflict except when i tried to add another lima got a bit pushy but never really got violent , give it time and keep an eye out
