shhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
I have a LSM in with an aro that I just picked up. They are both still very small, but the lima is maybe 1/4-1/2 in longer than the aro. Do you think there is a chance he could eat it at this point?

I do not believe it will eat it with only that size difference. No point being watchfull because, if it happens, it will be in the night.

Very small is about 4 inches. My plan is to feed the aro like crazy and not feed the lima very much until the aro gets a good size difference. I heard the lima will grow very fast compared to the aro and thats what im afraid of.

Limas will grow the same as or slower then your aro.

Bad idea to starve the Lima. Keep it well fed.

it hasnt seemed to eat so far. ive had it for about 3 days i tried two different kinds of sinking pellets. I was thinking of getting market shrimp but hes still way too small to eat them.

Try silversides mine loves them and their growth rate is not as fast as an aro. I would be more concerned for the lima what type of aro.
