Hey all, I got 2 lima shovelnose, one is about 5" and the other is 10" long. Problem is, they are being attacked as soon as the lights go out by my hemibagrus wickii, or crystel eyed catfish... being a close relative to the ART cat, they both have bad tempers. the crystel cat is about 7" long and is extremely powerful... Also in the tank is a pair of raphaels, both a striped and spotted... they are good size and I dont worry about the HW chomping them. I would love to find a home for the limas. better yet, i need a new tank. its a small 29 G in my room. anybody know where i can get a good sized farm trough? its only a matter of time before fish start getting killed... Im surprised I still have a 2" rainbow shark!!!!

you can get a decently sized tank(40g) at tractor supply for about 25 buks

hemibagrus wickii is a killer:eek: it just a matter of time for it kill all its tankmate.

Ummmmm........Where to start. The limas will need a tank of at least 125 gal. You can probably pull off a 90 gal if they are the right dimensions. I would say your wickii needs at least 250 gal in the future. He can probably make due in a 125 gal, but that would be pushing it. You would definitely never want to house a lima with a wickii due to the aggression. Say goodbye to the rainbow shark once the limas or wickii get bigger. You can send him to me and I'll gladely let my jau discipline him.

I posted an ad on craiglist, advertising the 2 lima shovelnose... I really, really like the shovelnose' but I know I cant house them. Somebody replied, and they offered to take the shovelnose off my hands. The guy plans on putting them in a 125 G tank, which makes me feel better:) as for the wickiii, hes a punk *** fish. no manners whatsoever. lol. If my computer wasnt so lousy, I would post some pics. anybody know the pricing differences between the asian RTC and the wickii? I heard they're kinda rare and i got it for $8 at... go figure, a redneck tractor store. They didnt know what kinda fish it was, and neither did I.
