lima's...The Best!

The Lima is my favourite cat. Always in the open to see and always active.
And boy can these guys eat!
I don't think there is a single thing these guys will not eat and the way they just suck up earthworms like spaghetti is amazing...Brilliant Fish!

Yeah,one of my favorites.I just recently traded 2 nice sized ones(now i miss them very much!!)So peacful,mine were trained to hand feed.

Yeah friends I liked my lima also but yesterday was a sad sad day while at work my lovely lima went to fish heaven eaten by my 10" or so Oscar had them together since oct '08. The lima was about 8"s or more can't believe he ate him. They were in my 125g Oscar really is on the back to the lfs list but 3 yrs of love and many other fish is hard to just take back but this might be the last straw

I guess I just had a boring one. Slow grower, always stayed in the same spot, didn't eat food unless you dropped right on top of him. I won't ever buy one again.

I could never get mine to eat pellets... plus, it was skittish and not active (unless it was freaked out banging all over the tank). I like them in theory, but have not had a good experience with one.

cooling looking fish... but the one my friends had didn't move much and really only ate feeders
