Houston
I just dig a 2,000g pond in my backyard. Im goin to make a hole through the liner and put a pvc pipe through it so when its raining really hard down here in Houston, TX the water would drain out instead of over flow the pond. What kind of glue should i put in when I glue the liner to the pvc pipe? I got a waterfall at one end and drain the other end. I would put different kind of kois in the pond.A friend of mine gave me 150 butterfly kois fry right now in my 110g tub.

There may be some kinda overflow fitting or some such. This issomehting I will hjave to also figure out in time.

If you neatly cut a hole in the liner half the diameter of the pipe you wish to install. Then push the pipe through the liner from the inside this will stretch the liner to form a small gasket on the out side of the pond. then put a stainless steel hose clamp over the pipe and the liner then tighten to form a seal.
I then to protect then liner from rubbing on the clamp i put some silicone all over the clamp to get rid of any sharp edges let it set for 24 hours then your ready to go.
You need to sand any rough edges off the end of the pipe and i have a couple of times needed to add a little lube to get the pipe moving. The wife’s vegetable oil works well.
Hope this helps.

Bulkhead.

what kind, where ya get one from?

i went out today to drain all of the water out and put new water in. when its all drain out i feel their some water under the liner. This past couple weeks its raining hard so the water around the pond went under the liner so what should i do? should i take the liner out and wait to get really hot and sunny so that the water evaporate.

Any reason why the dirt would not soak it up if you just left it alone?
