in the last paragraph it says, "In a strongly brackish aquarium, i.e. with a specific gravity of 1.010 or more, there is always the option of keeping some regular marine fishes. Many species of damselfish will do well, as will pufferfish, batfish and lionfish."

is this true at all? this has to be BS!!!!

yeah people treat marine ich with hypo salinity.. as long as the pH stays high and they SG is brougfht down slowly.. it's pretty safe.. i dont know about long-term though....

that would be cool if you could keep a lionfish in a brackish tank, however i dont see it happening with good long term effects.

the lionfish is the only reason i want a SW tank.

i did see a guy who completely mis treated his.. the water level was like 8'' from the top and it looked like he didn't want the tank anymore but was too damn lazy/cruel to re-hoouse the lion.. the SG in that tank much have been like 1.040 and nitrates ammonia, nitrite through the roof!!!! poor SOB was still alive
