Here is a stupid one for ya. I was feeding my fish every night like I usually do. Well I was dangling a piece of krill just above the service to entice my stupid puffer to eat. Well I look away for one moment and then look back and see to huge fins around my fingers which had fallen into the water. I didn't panic at first because I was like hey maybe he will get uninterested and just go away. WRONG!!!!!!!!! As I tryed to move my hand out he lept for the krill he got a piece of my finger. Which thank god he let go immediately, or I would have been F'd up. I felt a stinging sensation in my hand for about 15 min. That is the last time I watch Jackass and feed my fish at the same time.

did it bite you or did one of its fins get ya!!!

I have been nailed by the puffer before. It left a nasty gash on my middle finger.The lionfish bit me but they do have smaller spines around there face and mouth, they are probably less lethal though so that is probably why I only felt a a light sensation.
There bites are just a bite, no venom injected, also they can't control their venom release (its all done by pressure on the spines), btw only spines can cause venomation
