Hey guys, been a looong time since ive posted here..

Anyways, I have a 4x2x2 saltwater tank, lightly stocked and me and my boss were cleaning out an old apartment today.. and theres a ten gallon saltwater tank thats run down, ect ect.. with one lionfish in it.. it appears healthy.. its about 6" (body size.. not fins) mine at home is 8".. would there be a problem with me saving him and housing him with my other guy??

I have a 20 gal QT tank to make sure he wont pass anything... but after that, is he fine??

Also, bit off topic.. but what do you guys think about cohabbing triggers??
my 180 is cycling, and I wanted to add 1-2 more SPP of triggers in the tank, right now i have a 6" nyger, and a 9" Clown trigger... Any ideas or thoughts??

Thanks guys!!

in a 120 they should be fine, for a pretty long time anyways

clown triggers almost always end up psycho... i don't recomend it

I cant tell you about the lions as I am very new to the salt side but I do know blue jaw triggers will live together but I dont know if they will live with the other triggers. BigG, Ricko, or myteemouse probably know though, they always have good and very helpful answers to my questions.

I have had that clown trigger since he was 1.5".. he is my pride and joy! id rather get rid of every other fish than him.. so he stays put! haha.

thanks for the info guys

and ill look into another trigger I can add.. or maybe ill add a Clown/Powder blue tang.

If it makes any difference..

The tank has

1 Lion fish
1 Nyger Trigger
1 Clown Trigger
1 Tomato clown
1 Marine Betta
1 Zebra Moray

Just be aware that triggers are not the best tank mates for lions. triggers are known for bitting off the spines of lions for entertainment and could easily stress the lion to death by this spine nipping

as far as the 2 lions getting along there should not be any problem there
