he everyone, i'm considerign building a plywood reef and thinking of using liquid rubber to waterproof it. my question is about coralline algae. will the coralline algae wipe off the rubber easily or will it need to be scrapped off liek it is on plastic or glass parts? i ask because it is rather hard to scrape liquid rubber without the risk of damaging it while doing so

Most people use fiberglass on the seams and several coats of epoxy.

As far as coraline is concerned, its can be dificult to remove, and I assume it would take something like a brillo pad to get it off of silicone or rubber.

Interesting - I'm not familiar with that exact type of rubber - I'm am quite familiar with it's cousin ( Modified rubberized asphalt/ EPDM combo) Says it's okay for ponds and salt resistant. If truely lives up to it's claims works go for it.
