I am curious....can a liquid storage tank be used as a water trough good to stock??? I believe the materials that are used to make is rubber but am not sure myself....can i get feed backs???

I've used one of those before for a temporary(2day) tank when i was "re-doing" one of my tanks with no issues.

IBC or Intermediate Bulk Container are the basis for a lot of aquaponic systems (using fish to grow plants) but they do often hold chemicals if you buy them used so a good wash out would be required.
