i want to dip my stainless steal cal pump into liquid rubber (sold at home depot) because i am putting it into a 55g tank as the sump for my 180 and i dnt wanna hear the vibration on the glass so to quiet the thing up and to make it a little safer to move around in the tank with the rubber case. BUT my QUESTION is. is it safe for the fish ? life after i let it dry a couple days wash it n all. will it b okay in the water ? any one know ?
