My 9 inch Sliver aro has been totally listless the past two days. THe only change lately was the addition of a 9 inch IT to the tank two weeks ago. The IT does chase the aro but causes no apparent damage. The blood parrot in the tank may be getting ready to lay eggs and has been bullying a little as well. Again; no damage from her little mouth. Could stress be causing the bahavior or could the fish be suffering from trama from the tank lid or side the tank tring to escape. He is upright. Not eating. Just bobbing in the corner near the top. ANyone have a similar problem? THanks!

Thanks for the timely response and concern. The aro crowd is a bit stuffy eh.....well dont come looking for recipies!

You look to have stated the apparrent problem. Get rid of the IT and the parrot, see if the aro goes back to normal.

BTW microwaves don't need recipies

if you add a fish in the tank that harasses your aro obviously your aro will be a little skittish...aros dont like to be chased and dominated by other fishes because of their skittish nature..either you get rid of the other fishes troubling the aro and look for better tank mates or you wait out for a week and see if things settle out...first option is the better one, good luck
