anyone know how to get a caracal to stop spraying so much? I'd prefer to not neuter him but its getting out of hand.

Unfortunately once they start spraying they will not stop, without being neutered, and sometimes occasianally a neutered cat will still spray. 
you gotta clean the sprayed area as much as possible (to leave to scent). lock him up in a room with the litter box. until he knows that is the only place he should go. and nuetering should help(sometimes only thing that works) and as a compliment "THAT THING IS WICKED!!!!!!!!"
litter training and spraying are 2 different issues though, i have had plenty of male cats that would use the litter box and still spray, spraying is how they mark their territory, so that other cats will know that it is his space, also vinegar will remove the smell from where he has already sprayed.Bigg081 said:

Even neutered males spray and so do some dominant females.

Every time I see one of those I am reminded of a website that I saw selling them. it had a blurb about how they lived in the wild and what they hunted, then at the end, after the prices and sales conditions it said (in smaller leters) "Not to be trusted with other pets or small children". lol.

Sorry, No advice here, but where the heck did you get a Caracal? Man, those things are awesome! I bet its sweet having one around the house

hes not that big, the avatar is of his father. i got him from a breeder outside of pensicola, fl. web site is WWW.JULIESJUNGLE.COM . 1900 bucks. not that bad considering some people pay 2400 for a chiwauia or however you spell it. and my cat could kick a g shepards ass. thats something to be proud of.
