Little Dovii Update..

Well about a month ago I posted some pics of my Dovii to see if anyone could sex it. Most thought male a few thought female. I'm thinking it's a male for sure. This is about a month later and ~ 3/4" longer, it's pushing a little over 5" from head to tail. The colors are starting to come out more as well..

He's a bully.. had to remove all of my fish except for the TSN.. The TSN has learned to stay away for this reason alone.. But aside from the occasional scuffle when the TSN gets in his territory they are fine together.. for now.

well that is about the same size as my female and looks allot different. here is a shot of her so you can see the difference.

It's a boy! Females rarely have those uniform spots. Hes very nice mines about the same size, got him from my brother who had a breeding pair. I'll post a pic. as soon as I can get a shot of him showing his colors.

I'm counting on it being a male, he's still a little skitish but he's starting to come out more when I sit and watch him.
