Bred these 10 months ago and they have been growing painfully slow. My least colorful fish, but somehow attractive in their own ways

nice peter, i was just about to update on mine. mine are also very fat, and growing very slow. lol That sucks you lost the dad.

Hi Peter,

How'd you lose the dad? I lost a couple to bloat...probably from being in a tank that was a little too aggressive for them.

I've had the same experience in growing out the fry...SLOW...

Thanks guys. Very happy that many of them are in good hands Hope they will be more common in the hobby - they certainly deserve to be!

Matt: they were in their own tank and doing fine for several months, then I started losing the females one after another. No sign of illness...and not much aggression to speak off either. Loss the male when I was traveling this summer......
