I'm ready to build my wet dry for my 300g and got a hold of a little giant inline pump modell3MDQX-SC says it pumps 875gph @ 6 ft head. Will this be OK and are they pretty good pumps?"

Should do the trick. I have a little giant on my 300 (forget what model) and i LOVE it. Quiet, strong, and so far very reliable.

I don't see why it wouldn't be ok, based on the specs, i have never owned one though. You just have to make sure that you have plenty of bio material in your wet dry, its better to have too much then not enough. I circulate my wet dries less then the recomended 10 times an hour and it does just fine, although, neither of my tanks are crammed with fish. If you just have the 4 you have listed on your signiture you should be fine with the pump you have.

Hey, checked out your gallery, holy crap what a stand, that thing could hold my house up, check mine if you get a chance, just 2x4's, took the garf recomendation, did i under do it, or did you just build yours like a brick Sh@t house?

Yours looks pretty good, but i always say better safe than sorry....its a lot of water to end up on the floor lol....If it was me i would add another 2x4 to the corners and middle and put some cross braces it to triangulate the back and maybe ends...then it wont go anywhere:D

I wanted to be safe that set up weighs more than most cars . 8lbs per gallon estimated plus the weight of the tank and the couple hundred lbs. of stone. The only thing I would do with yours is put a couple 2x4s going long ways in the center so the tank can't shift from side to side if you can. I look at some of these stands that you can buy and I'm shocked those things don't collapse
