I seem to have a bunch of tiny little insects living in my tank.. they seem to be living on he glass just above the water line, in between the glass and wood on the tank and on the portion of the divider that sticks out of the tank. They look to be tiny little black beadles or spiders or something.. not too sure what they are.. Anyone have any idea what these little things are or how to get rid of them?

nothing to worry about. people call them 'nitrate bugs'

they are quite common. tiny and brownish colour right?

Do they feed on nitrates or something?

Howdy,

It's most likely springtails. You may also find them in your flower pots and on roots of garden plants. Basically, they're everywhere. They are harmless and feed off organic matter.

They look like this, right?
