Got this amusing pic of my smallest and biggest poly together! To give you an idea of the size of the congicus the senegal is 7" long. And that congicus was 4" when i got him under 6 months ago! :D

you not concerned about the Congicus eating the Senagal? I ask because I've a Del, Sen & Buett all around 7" and may be able to get an Endli. I've been advised against it due to the eventual size difference & possibility of cannabilism. ROB
 
Bichirs are all about personality, mine don't even try to have a go at anything. My congicus has 2 little rainbow cichlids about 4" that follow him everywhere dithering just above his head and he never tries to eat them. Then again you could get one that would destroy anything that fits in their mouths. I personally don't keep any lapradei as they are one that i think are most likely to eat other little bichirs. Endli's are the king of poly's and really hard to find in the uk so don't turn one down if you get the chance. see the other thread i posted this morning for pics of endli's

or you could just end up getting a really bad one that kills things bigger then it.
