In my 10G tank, I got driftwood + plant in it. Reasonly I notice the algae have disappear and the water turns brownish (because of the driftwood). Then I saw a lot of tiny swimming / moving dots in the tank and crawling on the wood. I tried put prasite guard, but it have no affect on them. Are they harmful to fish? How can I remove them?

I think those little dots may be daphias which are harmless and commonly found in ponds and small bodies of water I think they eat algae which is why it might be dissapearing.

im not sure if its the same parasite that i was dealing with before but heres the thread, http://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=150972

i just do more massive (70%) water change, and feed the fish less and those little things started to disappear. hope you solve it, good luck

It look like a tapole but without a tail

and they started to appear after I put a live cherry shrimp in the tank

and I hope they are harmless, because I am planning to put the driftwood + the plant in my new 75G
