I have 2 ocells that are about maybe 2". What do I need to be feeding them. I have had them a little over a week. I have been feeding them flakes, friezed dried blood worms, and some baby cichlid pellets. I heard that I should be feeding them feeders at a young age and them move them over to pellets at a later age. Any help would be appriciated. Thanks

if you feed them that stuff and they eat it stick with it it will save you a fortune in the long run personally i would find the most protein i could as peacock bass are piscivorous so they eat fish also high in protein but if you choose to go live definitely quarantine them for a week first i feed my bass a combination of frozen bloodworms ,frozen brine shrimp, freeze dried krill and feeder guppies and they are fat and doing well also keep your heat above 84 degrees that helps ward off ich also aquarium salt

if you want fast growth, you have to go live food, and start weening them at around 5 to 6 inches, good luck..............

Feed them live food til they are at least 4".
And remember to keep the temperature in 88-90F
