i think it is a male, not a whole lot of red. good looking guy, congrats. i'm glad to see more people picking up and posting about sal's.
yeah this little guy is of the Red Strain Sal got from Ruck Fules
Gani gave me 4 of them two got punked around by this one or my Myseri not sure, and stopped eating thus dying. Still have two of them. Sucks because the two I have I do believe both are little males. This one is the survivor and I can tell will have no issues, but the other one has started down the path the previous two took. Hiding to afraid to go up with the group and eat. His color suffers do to this and I fear his days may be numbered. Yeah Salvani have always been a favorite of mine, so I was supper stoked to get my hands on these little red strain ones! Just looks as though I will end up with one strong male when all is said and done

Nice pickups! You won't be disappointed with them. This strain grows rather large and old male breeder that I had was atleast 10".

It is kind of interesting that the last few batches were all males and I was lucky enought to acquire a few females from the guy that orginally collected them. According to Gani, all his fry's are appearred to be males. Well, let see what happens.
Nice Salvinis' guys i had one up to around 5'' but my Albino Oscar killed him..that was a sad day..
