LITTLE problem...

ok so figured i would go ahead and start cycling my extra 20gL i had sitting around in case something needed to go in it during the move of my large tank, main problem im seeing is that my dresser must be bowed down in the middle or something as the water level is even and both ends of the tank are flat but in the middle the tank is not resting on the wood, is this a huge problem or will the ends be ok holding the weight? hopefully you can see what im talking about in the pics, oh and i got a used emperor 280 and set it up on it, seems like its kind of loud anyone else have this problem? its mainly water noise but motor is also kind of loud, any tips to make it quieter?

The tank will be fine, as far as the filter goes I've never had one so not sure what to tell you I have an older aquaclear thats got a noisy impeller but it doesn't hurt the filter

ok great yeah i just wanted to make sure the tank wasnt going to crack down the middle or something lol its just really weird because the ends are all completely even and water level is even on all sides its just higher in the middle, oh well i guess thats what i get for buying presswood furniture LOL anyone else have ideas about silencing the filter? its right by my bed and is louder than the Xp3 on my 125!

ook so if this filter wont quiet down i will just sell it and put my super old whisper filter on it, only has one thing to slide carbon pouch thing into so will see if any of the new models use the same size pouch and then will just fill in spaces around it with bioballs i think it is rated for 20g but not sure as it is from back when the secondnature/whisper filters had clear housing and just has number 2 on lid over where the input pipe is (this thing has got to be as old as i am and im turning 21 lol and still works and is quiet as ever!)
