so i got home today from being gone overnight, so my tank light had not been turned on this morning. so i turned it on to feed my puffers, and first thing i see is a little puffer fish ball, laying on top of a ceramic pot with not tail. he looked like a little ball. he looked at me and started flailing his little fins and i was like "oh my god, what happened to you???" i was horrified. and then i look down and laying in the sand at the bottom of the pot was my other one, same as the first, no tail, flailing his little fins and looking at my and i was just like "oh my god, you poor little things! oh my god what happened??" and then the one on top of the ceramic flower pot got up and swam away, and then the other. apparently while these guys are sleeping they must curl their tail completely up to their side, but i've never noticed them sleeping like this before, because they usually sleep in the sand under a piece of driftwood, facing the front of the tank, so i just see them from the front and not the side. they're so cute. i just figured i'd share the story :]
