well im sitting here looking at different threads and such waiting for pharaoh to get back to me with payment details for some nls fish food and i look over to see my rosequeen cruising the tank more then usual who is in with a couple large silver dollers and a blue dolphin. he or she has been aggressive toward other fish but never me so i go over and look at her closely and starts attacking me through the glass. i open the lid and put my face over it and before i could react she bolted straight out of the tank hitting me in the face and taking a 4 foot fall to the carpet. it scared the bs out of me because i wasnt expecting that but my face is fine and so is the fish. ive had super aggressive cichlids in the past that wanted to bite through the tank or nip at my fingers if i opened the lid but she came out like a shark going for a seal. i wish i had it on video so i could see it from a diff perspective.

im going to give it a day or two and do that again but this time ill be ready and have someone there to so we make sure we catch her. i got to get the on vid

Thats some funny stuff. But I feel you.. I've had my old aro jump 6 times. adrenaline rush aint it.. definitely would be cool to see on video.
i used to have a flowerhorn that would jump a good 2 feet out of the tank for freeze dried krill. He only fell out once. He was a mean bugger too
LOL!! Now see, the initial reaction to it all is what would make recording it funny. Fish are silly and weird. But that's why we love them, these personalities they have.
