Found a great spot in a wooded pond not far from where we rescued him. Should be fine.
Also have this male dwarf cherry tortoise - 13 years now. Very social!
Yes,snappers are cool.There are a few big old ones in the creek nearby.I often spot them floating on near the water surface before tgey quickly disappear to the bottom......and nice tortoise,a cherry head just might be my first tort.
Always steal my bait, also one of the most predatory creatures I've ever kept, seen wild ones kill large muskrats
