what are they? will they harm the fish? they look like little sperm cells with a shorter tail, white-ish in color, and they are mostly on the glass--closer to the sand. i thought they where just sand, until they started moving! how do i get rid of them without harming the fish?? and how did i get them in the first place??:nilly: thanks

are they free swiming or stuck to glass, if stuck to glass do they move with current

I had something similar growing on my plants and glass
does it kind of look like a snowflake on the end?

im not sure about stuck, but they are definatley on the glass, and they sorda move like lice, somtimes jolting from point A to point B.

come to think of it, and looking closer, some of them kinda look like snow flakes with a little tail.

OMG what are they?!!

i think i know what urtalking about, i cant remember name for it or find th epost about it. but it like a kind of alage. growes when u over feed, its not bad for fish or can harmthem. but more waterchanges can get rid of most and a good scrap. do u feed heavy, and have lots of extra food waste. bc if so this i bet this what it is, bc when ever i feed heavy and there is left over food i dont get out, bext day i get them

i used to feed her when she feels like eating, thats like 3-4 times a day and do 2 50% water change a week. but lately since ive been really busy, i only feed her once, and if anything, the fish is underfed.

this is the first time ive seen this, do you think its also probably from the sand? this is the first time ive used sand, but i did rinsed it really REALLY well before adding into my tank.

the fish seems fine, eating well, colors bright as usual, poop is regular darkish/blackish color. the only thing wrong in my tank is the freakn temp!! the heater is off but my tank is up to 85 F!!
