little trimacs

well I finally got the true trimacs I have been wanting for a while now. They are evil little sh!!'$ lol They are 1" at the most and when I put their bag into my tank I noticed that they were fighting. Maybe this is common as normally my cichlids are bagged seperately but I couldn't believe I was watching these tiny little guys lip-locking and trying to kick the crap out of each other at only 1". Well so anyways I put them in my 55 to grow them out to about 2" before I put them in the 125g and now they are rasing hell in their too. Little bastards started killing my Harlequins at a rate of one per night. They don't do anything when I'm around but sure enough every darn morning there is something else dead :irked: Anyways just wanted to share this little story about the most aggressive smallest fish I have ever owned. Has anybody else ever had such evil cichlids at 1"? I'm almost afraid to put them in the other tank they might kill my 3" synspilum :ROFL:
 
I had a breeding pair in a 180 a while ago. The male was so aggressive I ended up with just him in the tank. I sold the pair to a friend. My friend did give me a little 1.5 female some time ago that has grown into a beauty. Although under 7" she is still a terror. They seem to get more aggressive than RD in general, and more aggressive quicker. Got pics?
 
I snapped some of them fighting in the bag but I haven't checked to see how they turned out. I will check later tonight and if they turned out well I'll post em up

my LFS got them in for me. Got me 6 of em but I only bought three. thank goodness lol. They said they would get them for me but I was really starting to not believe them when the manager didn't know what I was talking about when I asked him. But they did. If you want one or some let me know and I'll hook you up Levi. Heck I might give you one or two of mine after I grow em out for a bit. Now if they could just get me in a festae I'll be as happy as pig in sh!! I guess he tried at the same time and his supplier sent him a 6"Uro but he sold it the same day. I'm hoping he didn't sell it as a festae but I wouldn't put it past him he does sell dyed fish:irked:

he ordered them for me. He assured me they were true trimacs but I don't know I've never seen juvies before as long as they lose that lateral in a few months I'll believe him. He charged me 5.99 but said he paid 5 a piece for 'em. I go there a lot so I pretty much know everyone there. And only one of them is not intelligent about fish. Well not that he doesn't know anything but comparitavely not that much.

Anybody ever own Trimacs as juvies and could confirm for me? Appreciate it
