Little brother got a new rod and reel combo for his birthday, so I took him and the dog down to see if we could get a few rainbows. Needless to say, I was stuck with his pole fixing his reel cause some idiot (me) put on to much 6lb line and it got all snarled.

This spot isn't too productive but it's easy access, 10 minute drive and 10 minute walk. Caught a couple small trout (under 8") that we let go.

And yes, Gary Ridgeway the "Green River Killer" dumped bodies all up and down here back in the day.

I did manage to land this "thing" which I spotted hoovering a large boulder and enticed with a worm. Anyone want to guess what it is (I know, terrible photo)? It's about 18" long, 2-3lbs, white underneath with gold going to brown up top. The most distinguishing feature is the sucker-like mouth with small "teeth" all around it. I know what it is, but it's the first time I've seen one in 15 years fishing the Green. Not a common fish in the states. Thought it was a mountain whitefish when I was reeling it in, it wasn't. :P

The water looks nice, but it's glacial runoff. Probably in the upper 40's, low 50's with air in the 80's.

Man, I type too much when I wait for photos to upload, damn dialup...

Looks like a white sucker, thats what we have up here (Ontario, Canada) and they look identical to that one. Don't know if you have the same fish down there though?

Burt :)

undoubtably a sucker, i have had some good sized ones while fishing for trout aswell, only the hole i got my last 17"er out of was a hell of a lot smaller than that. they'll eat nearly anything, i catch mine by cutting up sunnie's for bait, and sticking on hooks, then casting and very slowly reeling.
