I am used to things like this in my reef tanks but what the heck is this in my freshwater? they are thin and long but quite small.

The search function on the left side (<--) is quite helpful.

There's usually a thread a week on this topic. You most likely have planaria. They are harmless although visually unappealing. To reduce the number of them, feed less and their number will dwindle as they feed on the excess food.

i use that button fairly often however it rarely pops up what i am looking for in my search phrase. If it just has the word in it it will show on the results. PAIN IN THE BUTT. Then you have to search through 50000 pages. I just figure someone would type info instead of typing where to look.

alright fine i did it and it wasnt as hard this time. thanks.

;)
I searched "little white bugs" and got two related results in the top 10.

Is the problem planaria? That was only my best guess.

yea i suppose it probably is. although i dont think that i overfeed. my oscar snags everything in site and my cat cleans up the rest. there are not that many though so i may just drop the feedings a bit more. i feed the baby pbass feeders could it be from left over scales etc. . .?
